IVA Illawarra Open (SPARTA) 2026

Men’s / Women’s 2v2

Welcome to the Illawarra Beach Open (formerly SPARTA) - IVA’s biggest beach volleyball event of the year!

The Illawarra Open is a two-day beach volleyball tournament, featuring:

• Men’s / Women’s 2v2 on Saturday 21st February

• Mixed 4s on Sunday 22nd February

Both days will run from 8:00am – 6:00pm, depending on entries. All athletes will be required to arrive by no later than 7:30am to sign in and receive the comp briefing.

Prizes

• Champions of the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed 4s competitions will have their names engraved on our perpetual trophy

• Prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division across the tournament

Entry Fees

• Men’s / Women’s 2v2: $60 per team

• Mixed 4s: $80 per team

This tournament is open to all skill levels and is a great entry point into competitive beach volleyball.

How to register

Use this event to register for the Men’s & Women’s 2v2 competition, held on Saturday 21st February. Only one player registers and pays on behalf of the team.
