IVA Beach Series Round 1

Halloween Special

Kick off the 2026/27 beach season with Round 1 of the IVA Beach Series at Woonona Beach! Open to all ages and skill levels, this event is the first of three planned competitions in our new Beach Series. 

Round 1 will be a Mixed Doubles 2v2 competition, with a Halloween twist! Grab a partner, get creative with your costumes and come ready to compete for cash prizes and bragging rights.

The Beach Series will continue with Round 2 on Saturday, 28 November 2026, before wrapping up with the Series Finals on Saturday, 20 March 2027.

IVA Beach Series - Points & Finals

The IVA Beach Series consists of three events, with points up for grabs throughout the season!

• Finals Seeding: Points earned across Round 1 and Round 2 will determine team seedings for the Beach Series Finals on Saturday, 20 March 2027.

• Series Points Champion: Points earned across all three events will count towards an overall Series Points Champion, recognising the individual player that performs most consistently across the series.

Every round counts, so get involved and see if you can climb the leaderboard!

Round 1 Details:

• Date: Saturday, 31 October 2026

• Location: Woonona Beach

• Format: Mixed Doubles 2v2

• Entry Fee: $40 per team
  
  

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Tournament Champions – $100

• Runners-up – $80

• Best Dressed Team (Halloween theme - get creative with your costumes!)
  

How to register:

All participants must hold a valid membership for insurance purposes. If you don't already have an eligible membership, you'll need at least an IVA Recreational Membership (Beach), which covers you for all IVA beach events through to 30 March 2027.

If you're only planning to play in this event and don't intend to participate in any other IVA beach events this season, you can instead purchase a one-day membership for the day of the competition.
